| The Front 30 Ranch, a short distance from Lake Texoma, specializes
in the breeding and raising of registered Texas Longhorn cattle
and the production of forage crops. The main ranch covers
nearly
100 acres, in North Texas, with additional acreage under contract
for supplemental forage production. |

Bed and Breakfast accommodations
are available at the Guest House. This facility was constructed
in 1995 and features an authentic Texas ranch style facade.
Ten-foot porches surround the house, which is constructed of
limestone quarried from central Texas. Rich oak hardwood accents
plus an outstanding, comfortable decor provide a high level
of creature comfort. Lake Texoma lodging at its finest. |

Open pastures, studded
with pecans and native oaks, are ringed by heavy woods. Seven
farm tanks provide opportunities to catch hybrid Florida bass,
channel catfish, crappie, and hybrid bream. Wildlife, including
deer, turkey, and the nightly howls of coyotes, are regular
visitors together with an impressive inventory of birds of
all types.

We
purchased and began clearing the first 30 acres in 1990. When
trying to think of a name for our "place", the Front 30
was selected because it fronted on Cedar Mills Road and
certainly
didn't qualify as the "Back 40". By 1995, the "place" witnessed
the clearing of additional acreage, the planting of pastures
and hay meadows, the establishment of a herd, and the construction
of two residences. |
